Wild as a mother
Supporting Mothers in The Sacred work of Raising Wild Children in Thriving Families
When the troubled world feels too much to handle,
remember this: you, mother, have the power to create change in the smallest, most sacred moments of the everyday.
The work you’re doing—feeding your children nourishing food, creating a gentle rhythm in your home, healing your nervous system, choosing intentional parenting—is your legacy. It’s the most potent offering you could make, even on the days that feel slow, repetitive, or unseen. It’s your gift to the future of your family line, your community, and the future.

My mission is to keep the light in your eyes ablaze"

An Offering for THe Mothers
I’m Jac, a homeschooling mother of 15 years, coach, birthkeeper, postpartum specialist, and writer… passionate about natural parenting, ancestral nourishment, and raising children in rhythm with the seasons and their biology.
This blog is my offering to the mothers–a space outside of the pay walls– for nature-based childhood, nervous system support, and wisdom from a woman a few steps ahead of you. It’s a collected body of work uncovered in my own motherhood apprenticeship (we sure do learn on the fly), rooted in what I believe is as close as possible to the blueprint Mother Nature provides, while still honouring the real-world challenges we face today.
We can only do the best we can, and all of our circumstances are different. Most of all, I hope that if the road, at times, feels harrowing and lonely, there is wisdom and kinship among the writings you’ll find here. You’re doing the good work, mother♡
